winter mask

I'm pulling together a costume for this halloween and wanted some technical advice.  I'm going for a masquerade theme in which I'll be winter, the snow king, holly king, what have you.  My mask has icicles, and has been spray painted a white/frosted blue.  Anyway, my question is this I bought a can of spray snow to use on my mask, but am not sure how well it dries, and the consistency of the dried product.  Right now it pretty much looks and feels like whip cream.  Does it harden?  If not, are there any suggestions for what I can use as a substitute that would harden without being brittle?

Okay so I figured it out on my own.  The spray snow is not suitible for anything but window deocorating.  DecoArt makes some paste called Snow-Tex that seems to be what I was looking for.  After I get everything said and done I'll post pics.

there is a product they sell at pearl paint that is textured paint and it is white.  there is one that looks like flakes, one that looks like whipped cream and a sand one.  they dry like that.  one year i wanted to go as a "snow queen" and i made a headpiece using that stuff, glitter and foam snowflakes.  it ended up being too heavy, i got frustrated and threw it out.  I went as a cat that year.
