Wow, the difference between the before & after is amazing!  I love how it turned out, even if you do have to roll the sleeves.  Smiley

hi craftsters. i just made my order from knitpicks today - i'm so excited! ibmomof2, i'm so impressed with yours; it came out great. i'm wondering about the "growth issues," though, in terms of planning my length. can anyone tell me more? does it just tend to lengthen a little when blocked or washed? does it depend upon your gauge? thanks so much!

Hi! I am pretty sure the growth is due to the silk content in the recc. yarn gloss. I suggest you swatch up and then wash and block to see the final results.

anyone happen to be using debbie bliss cashmerino?  that's what i'm using (and i'm about 70% done, yay) but i wonder how it is to block.  i'm reading about all this stretching with blocking, but most of you guys are using knitpicks.  i made the body an inch longer than it said in the pattern, because i'm using another shirt as a reference, and because 12" from armpit to end just is not long enough.  so i hope i haven't messed it up by doing this.

I guess you can't do much about it now.....but it's better too long than too short! I doubt that the cashmerino will grow as much as the gloss because of the absence of silk. What colour are you using?
