Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

This is stunning- your fabric choices are excellent! It's radiant!

And, while I've only done a paper pieced pillow, I loved making it! I am on a quest for great patterns (for when I have the time and an adequate stash of fabrics), so I'll be looking forward to when your pattern becomes available. Smiley

Lovely fairy!  You did a brilliant job.

I also design paper pieced patterns and really enjoy the freedom that gives me.  All of mine are designed as 5" blocks, though I do often increase them to 10".
I've done quite a few messenger bags with paper pieced flaps as well and look forward to seeing what kind of pattern you use for yours.

Good luck in the challenge!
