iridescent beaded garter lace choker

here it is! i knitted this in phildar sunset on sz 1 needles, and on the YO, K2tog i slid in a bead every YO. some on them sit nicely and some don't but i think i can coax them a bit more when i have time. this is only one repeat of the pattern, i thought it would look nicer with the horizontal stripe. i left the strands long at the clasp because my neck is fairly thin and i'm actually going to give it to a friend who i think will need more length.

this was fun, looking forward to doing more!

I agree.  Very bridal.  Having just looked up that yarn, I can also see it being great in the peacock blue/green color with black irridescent beads.    Might have to give it a go.  I wonder, though, if something like the irridescent crochet cotton would work, too.  Hmm....

Very simple and pretty. The beads are the perfect touch. Usually I don't like knitted necklaces but this looks really wearable. Nice work.

yes, it is very bridal come to think of it. it would look great darker, but this was what i had left over from a shawl i made. i did make up the pattern, but there wasn't really much of one, it's basically just one repeat of the required stitch. i  think i cast on 70 and left 6 on either side as a selvedge.
