For my last birthday my amazing mum made me an entire beauty range named after me!! I don't think you can see it in the pics but on the labels it says "Ellie's Private Formula", and my name is Ellie. And she made everything herself, including the labels.

Here are some pics of the loot

A box with tea tree oil and peppermint tea for my hair

Here is a list of everything that she made for me
1. Moisturiser
2. Sun block
3. Facial spritzer
4. Bubble bath
5. A box of yellow jellybean flavoured bath salts
6. Lip balm (which tastes great!)
7. 3 bottles of essential oil
8. Two jars of clay face mask
9. Exfoliating face mask
10. A box of hair treatments including tea tree oil, chamomile tea and peppermint tea.

Is my mum cool or what??? lol.

Thanks for looking!  Smiley

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

That is a great idea.  If you don't mind me asking, did she make the labels and products from scratch or did she go to a place where you pick all the stuff out that you want and they do it for you? It is really fantastic and so thoughtful!

No, my mum made everything from scratch. She made the labels on her computer, printed them out and put them on the bottles. She then put all the beauty products into the bottles. Smiley

I am nigh speechless over the level of "coolness" this post achieves. That is quite possibly one the sweetest, neatest, coolest, loving gifts I have ever seen posted. Congrats to your mom on being uber, and congrats to you on receiving such a great gift! The packaging is absolutely lovely.  Shocked

That is SO COOL! I'd love to make my own personal beauty range. I should really because I have incredibly sensitive skin.

Does your mum have a website? Or a book she used? I need sunscreen!! Lol.

Those look neat! Does she have a store, or did she only make them for you? I know this is going to sound silly, but is there a chance I could get a free sample?! hehe

I think that that is an ideal mom sort of gift, please give her my warm wishes, so touching that she would make that.

How on earth did she get a recipe for sunscreen and is it a high spf? I agree with an earlier person who said sensitive skin could do with a personalised range of products like that.
