My co-worker's horse had a long-awaited filly this morning at 6:15am. To congratulate her, I was working on a blanket (the sex of the horse determined the color of the bow). It's like a receving blanket, but it is for her to use and not for her to put on her horse.

I used 3 different printed fabrics, yarn for the mane and tail, hand sewed on a bow, and used bias tape around the whole thing to finish it off.
