SWEET!! I am going to try really hard not to steal your idea, but my dad is a huge godzilla fan and such a sweater would gain me infinite "best daughter" points!  Cheesy In any case, you have inspired me to finally get up off my rump and try intarsia after 20+ years of knitting. For that, I thank you!! Good luck finishing the project!

I can't figure out Intarsia.  I think I've been over that part of S&B a million times and it still doesn't make any sense to me. Undecided

That is fab!  I have a godzilla t-shirt with the japanese logo on it, so I might have a go at doing that on a bag.  Tops work!  I hope you will post the finished jumper in use.

its knitting pictures using different colors. IE godzilla - you use different strands for different parts of the the picture. I only had to use 2 different colors for mine. that's kinda a crappy definition. If you wanted to knit a star/heart whatever. you hook the yarns together when you change colors.

I totally wanted to too! It actually fits me pretty well. The sleeves are a little too long. My boyfriend is tall and skinny and I'm not really tall and skinny so I figured I'd make him try it on and then block it to how long he wanted. I'm afraid I might boob it out if I wore it. I already wrapped it up to stop myself. Smiley
