She does allow you to use images in items you sell, but with a few caveats. Check out her FAQ for the policies. Her stuff is awesome! I spend hours on this site.

I get lots of my images from vintage postcards. I love the worn look and many have beautiful vintage handwriting on them. You can do a search on line. Auction sites sell them as well.

My absolute favorite place for images is stocking up on old National Geographic magazines.  They are always plentiful at thrift stores for very cheap. There is always so many different kinds of images, the ads in the beginning and end are my favorite part.  Grin

There's a link in the email that you need to click on ... sometimes there are lots of book/story samples as well because Dover has clip art, books and other things... usually there are lots of nice clip art samples
