I made this purse last weekend inspired by a couple of posts that I cant find right now. The outside fabric is a heavy stretchy ?nylon or something and the inside is a pale yellow cotton. The embroidery is done in metallic thread that looks a lot nicer than the images show.

This is the inside with a zip pocket

And a crappy close up of the embroidery on the front

Very nice.  The embroidery is great.  Do you have an embroidery machine or was that done by hand?  Love the zipper pocket too.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

Wow! Your embroidery is so pretty, it's so beautiful on black. This is a stunning bag. Love, love, love this bag! Did you do the embroidery by hand? Awesome job!!!!!

Thanks everyone, its nice to wake up to comments like those.  Unfortunately I didn't do the embroidery by hand, I have an embroidery machine.  It could be done by sewing machine (I couldn't do it but I'm sure someone could) as the wings are  just straight stitch sewn back and forward in the shape of the wings and the body is just satin stitch.  I'm glad you like it.
