I've made "rub-offs" of several items of clothing. Essentially copying one item I already have to make a new, similar item.

I've got a bit of jersey fabric and want to make a t-shirt out of it. Do ya'll think I could copy a t-shirt I already have?

Has anyone tried this?

Loads of people have done this.  Just make sure to leave room for seam allowance.

If you search the t-shirts that people have done in Reconstructed people share all kinds of tips and tricks,as well as what seems to work and not as well.  Good luck.
