Hey fellow Craftsters, just a heads up that my Jo-Ann's just put ALL of the $1-$5 clearance fabric down to $1. ALL OF IT! And according to the  store manager, this is a company-wide thing, so walk, run, sprint to your nearest Jo-Ann's for some awesome fabric buying,  Cheesy

I'd rather swing on the moon than a star.

Maan, I was just there yesterday to buy some fleece, and i didn't even bother to check the clearance section since I only needed fleece, but a few weeks ago I got some halloween fabric for $1/yd and it made me super happy because it's not really halloween fabric, it's got moons/stars on it Cheesy

The $1/yard deal is good thru Sunday, anyway.  Seriously, run, don't walk!

I may go back.  I swore I wouldn't, but there's this fabulous purple cotton....

I happened to discover this at the store yesterday. Bought 6+ yards of a pretty Destination India fabric (not the sari looking stuff but more of a batik). Hooray! Might go back today with some concrete shopping plans.

When I saw this post yesterday, I really did run out the door right away. My Joann mostly had kiddie fabrics on clearance but that's okay cuz I got little ones I sew for. So I bought 10 yards. I'm going to my grandma's house today & I'm gonna stop at the joanns by her house too.

*happy dance*

*stops dancing to ponder fabric storage because she has no room left*

*shrugs & starts dancing again*

My Joann's is pretty well picked over, but I got the purple cotton, and a heavy fabric for a bag, and some silk/cotton suiting material, and a nice burgundy linen with flowers.

But then I blew $10 on cotton velveteen.  Which wasn't on clearance.  Tongue

Is it a bad sign when the staff offer to install a bunk bed for you?

Thanks for sharing.  I sent my mom to check it out in Tucson and she scored all kinds of sweater kn1ts for me and some fun pirate stuff (not on sale) to make fun clothes for my sons.  I can experiment for a $1 a yard.  Thanks again!!!!
