I hope someone can help me with this one!
Sometime ago, I brought a whole lot of really cool handles from tallpoppycraft. Since I wouldn't be ordering any time soon again, a lot of stuff found it's way into my shopping cart, among them this handle. It's for a Bermuda bag and I found the idea really cool, but how do you attach fabric to it  Huh
Probably should have thought about that before ordering, I guess I need some tools to attach anything, right?

it's funny you ask, i had a great clear out a few weeks ago and came across the monogrammed bermuda bag my grandmother gave us when we were children in the 70's. I'm determined to make them hip again.

anyway, my b. bag had a permanent lining made of muslin and a lining fabric (the muslin is like interfacing and the lining is the lining) this is stapled or something to the wood part with four buttns along the top edge of the outside.  the cover is interchageable and traditionally is buttoned onto the bag. the button holes are placed about 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch or so from the top edge of the cover; so part of the wood is hidden a little by the cover.

i don't have the bag with me right now, but i'll snap pics of it over the weekend and post them on monday. my mom and i are trying to devise a plan that will eliminate the button holes. four on each side? no way! once i figure that out i'll let you know.
