Aww, thanks.  You guys really know how to cheer a lady up on an otherwise crummy day. Wink

As for the colour choice - I graduated from graphic design in college, so my years of colour theory classes proved to be helpful when I whipped out my trusty colour wheel to find the strangest, scariest combo I could.  Grin

Beautiful quilt! It's the handmade things from our loved ones that we cherish the most as we grow up. I have several quilts that were passed down to me that my great grandmother. Now that I'm beginning to quilt it's amazing to me to think about how much time (she quilted everything by hand) and love she put into each one. congratulations on your first quilt!

I find flying geese to be a challenge.  Yours are terrific and you have a very good sense of color.  Isn't it amazing how chartreuse makes every other color look better?
