i LOVED this pair and i'm super-excited to see how your sister's turn out...

on a related note, if you end up using the heat-set crystals, be careful not to scorch the paint.  you can iron acrylic paint to an extent, including heat-setting it, but if it's too hot or for too long, it may end up burning the plastic in it.  depending on the requirements for the crystals, you may want to iron them on first, and then paint the shoes...in my experience, you can wipe acrylic paint off of plastic no problem before it dries, so you wouldn't really need to worry about working around them...but from the looks of your amazing work, you don't need me telling you how to work with the paint.

if this pair is anything like hers are going to be, they are going to be AWESOME
