this is a bit late, but...

I got really excited the first night of Hanukah and decided to make a menorah. since copper is too expensive, I picked something else metal and shiny, and voila!

(aren't coppers made of copper then? They must have some copper in 'em, because when they corrode they go kind of green)

Current US pennies are made with a zinc core plated with a teeny amount (2.5% of the coin's total weight) of copper.

The menorah is great!  How'd you stick the pennies together, glue of some sort?

in a stupid attempt, I attached them together with a hot glue gun. That worked for the tealights in the containers, but the central holder kept melting. Thanks!
