Here's are three knitted items I've completed.  For the baby sweater I used some instructions I found online, but it's basically just 5 appropriately sized rectangles that are sewn together.  Good project for a new knitter who doesn't know how to increase/decrease.  I sort of know how to do those things, but not very well... so I found it an easy project.  The hat and scarf are my own 'patterns', the scarf is simple ribbing, and the hat is pretty basic.

(The pictures don't really show the items in the most 'flattering' manner, but I'm trying to work on taking better pictures of my crafted items, so practice makes perfect I guess.  At least these pics give the general idea. )

very cute little sweater!  it's funny, i prefer increasing and decreasing over finishing pieces of a sweater up LOL

Oh, I hate seaming with a passion!  I'm just not good enough at knitting yet to do the fancy patterns that make it so you don't have to do so much finishing!

Your sweater is so cute!  I love the colors.  Congrats on making your own patterns for the hat and scarf.
