I've seen some really cute things made out of felt here, so I thought I'd try my hand at making something out of it. I cut out the cherry blossom and then hand embroidered it onto the sleeve. The fun thing about sewing with felt is that it doesn't fray!

Oh, I love it!  Yay for spring things!
Did you make the sleeve, too?  Looks like felt also.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

Thanks guys!

Yup, I made the sleeve too. You guess correctly, the sleeve is made out of black felt. It's the first time that I've used felt since elementary school and it's alot sturdier than I remember it being as a kid. Although that might be because I have a bit more hand eye coordination now than I did as a 6-year old Wink
