So... I'm fairly new to this craftster site, which I totally love by the way, and I figured it was about time I share something of my own.  I'm currently studying fashion design, which actually gives me little time to make the fun sort of crafty things I like, so this is something I made for school.  The assignment was to make a dress (with a Grecian theme) out of something other than fabric.  I made two dresses and modeled one myself... this is me in my plastic grocery bag dress (I have crazy make-up and hair done for the fashion show that we did).

Hope you enjoy it!

This reminds me of the garbage bag dress worn by Kirsten Dunst in the Marie Antoinette Issue of Vogue. Not nearly as long and trailey, but with that same pouff over pouff over pouff. I actually quite like it. How did it fare at your fashion show?

I swap, so in crafting terms I guess that means I put out... You?

That's really creative. It definitely looks like you put thought into it.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

yeah! so awesome!
how'd you do the layering for the skirt? is it plastic ruffles, or a stuffed bubble? also, i would LOVE to see the decal up close. the idea of embroidering plastic blows my mind...
