i'm a member of the 501st legion (star wars costuming group) so i made this half for the challenge, and half because the hubby needed a new costume.

i used a cotton that has some lycra fibers.  at hancock fabrics it's called 'sportswear'

wow--I had no idea there was a Star Wars group that got to wear outfits like this on a regular basis!! How fun for you!!  ha ha --he looks like he might mean business in his outfit!  The fabric you used is wonderful to work with...and white is a difficult color as it seems to pick up everything from thread to finger smudges when you sew!! Nice job!

that's fantastic!! so well done. I love it.

btw, I got to see the StarWars costume exhibit when it traveled a few years ago. it was so funny to see that many of the costumes were just made of spray painted plastic pieces. the boots weren't even boots, they were cloth tie-ons. Smiley
