So when i found out i was going to have a girl, i immediately ordered the flore pattern from knitwhits... problem is that the infant size that i knit is HUGE! which is weird 'cause gauge was right on. i was so frustrated 'cause at this rate my daughter will be 3 before she can wear this hat! but it came out kinda cute so i'll show it to you guys Wink

frustrated, but not defeated, i made her a little hat that she could wear right away. i wish i would've taken a photo with something comparing the size, but just in case you were wondering, it fits a 14 inch head (for comparison, a small adult head is about 20-21 inches) here it is!

Super cute hats!  You should have a picture taken of the two of you (after she's born, of course!)... the momma hat and the baby hat.   Wink

Ooo... a matching mama, baby hat picture would be adorable. I've always wanted to try the flore pattern. It looks like it would be an interesting knit.

Those are beautiful!  good job!  I love all the things you can make for little girls. Sometimes I want to force my son to love fairy dresses and stuff like that.  But then I realize that that would be crazy....and I'm not...crazy....

Both hats are darling!! You might be surprised, I made my baby several hats and she outgrew all of them way before I thought she would. She has a pretty big head...anyway your baby will look cute no matter when she gets to actually wear them!!!
