To do the people there is a free program called Daz Studio.

http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/software/studio/140d0cf626677e6596322fff4e9a0ce4/?

You can find free stuff for it all over the place.

You can buy Paint Shop Pro XI for around 59.99 or 69.99 either online or at stores. Or maybe search for a different version on E-bay. My favorite PSP is 7 and X.

I use Photoshop CS and Poser Pro Pack, 5, 6 and 7. But you really don't have to spend a lot of money to do this.

There are tutorials all over the net to learn how to do both programs I've mentioned.

Thank you so much!

I suggest the GIMP for starting out with.  Its a very powerful program, but its FREE.  It does have a learning curve to it, but its worth it.
And you can do searches for free poser tubes to use, such as freeposertubes.com.

Gimp is not working for me.  Undecided

I'd love to do digital ATCs, but there's no way I can print them :-/

Tiger Fae is my fav so far Smiley

I'm new here, but I've been making at cards for some time and including digital cards during the last year using a MacBook Pro, Painter, and a Wacom digital tablet and pen. I absolutely love it!

The end result doesn't have to be printed to be shared. A file can easily be sent to another digital atc trader who can either keep it in their digital gallery or print it out themselves. (And we can share them in this thread, too!) That's one of the beauties of the medium.

I've taken part in several digital atc swaps where artists sent the host digital files and the host printed the cards and sent them out. I know a lot of atc artists who just can't part with some of their better cards in trades, but with digital trades, they can send out their creations and keep them, too, since the original files remain on their computers.

Another benefit of digital atc work is the ease of design trial and error. When the design finally comes together, the artist can proceed to use the digital version as a guide to creating one directly using media such as watercolor, etc. A printed version may be helpful in that case, but it isn't necessary.

I love everything I've seen here so far! All really amazing work. Sewknitter, I agree with Teeisme about hearing the relief from the mom in the tub!

Okay...late though I am, I decided to have a crack at making an ATC. I don't have PS, so please bear with me!  Smiley

Constructive Crit would really be appreciated for my first attempt!

Congratulations on these great cards--love them!

Cool card!

Here's a link to my website atc samples page: http://web.mac.com/zoozyq/iWeb/Zoozyq%20Arts/ATC.html
