Hello all, I am interested in designing my own handbags, but I don't know how to sketch.  Can anyone explain the basics of sketching a handbag or send me a link that will help me?

Many thanks,

I'm no great artist, but I've allways wanted to be one.Wink And in my own attempts and from asking the same questions, all anyone has told me is practice, practice, practice! Which is why I finally gave up. Cause i wanna be good at it now! Smiley But one book that did really help me was "Drawing on the right side of the brain" or something like that. I have it still and If you would like it I will send it to you. As I haven't picked it up in ages, and I am about to make a huge move. Whew! sorry, my posts aren't usually so long!

you need any basic drawing study, just google how to draw. you need to learn ratios, volume and basics then sketching will come naturally.

start out with basic shapes, squares, triangles and rectangles.

if you can realize that almost everything on the world is composed of those shapes, drawing isn't too bad at all.
