sent in my info, woohoo!  can't wait for this one!

Since many of the ideas that came up for stuff to be swapped involved inspirational sayings, I thought I'd share the list I have come up with throughout my weight-loss journey.  Might be useful to everyone once they start crafting!

On eating / splurging:

Don't live to eat, eat to live.

I could EAT more, but I don't NEED more.

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!

If it isnt hunger, food wont fix it.

Never let the urgent crowd out the important.

On getting off track:

Even if you fall off the wagon, it's still there to climb back onto.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Every day can be a clean slate if you want it to be.

Think of yourself as a toy train. All toy trains de-rail now and then. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back on track.

Every gain is a learning experience - take the time to learn from it and change your behavior for next time.

If you feel you're at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!

On how much you have to lose:

It's just a number...and I have the power to change it!

No amount of weight is too much to lose. The only way you'll never lose weight is if you don't try.

Slow and steady wins the race.

I dont have to lose 40 pounds.  I just have to lose 5 pounds 8 times!   (or whatever your numbers are)

Every pound lost is a victory!

Small goals add up to a big win!

On thinking positively:

I may not be where I want to be, but at least Im not where I used to be.

Whatever your past has been, you have a spotless future.

You're not losing weight. Because then you could find it again. You're getting RID of the weight!

If I think I can, or I think I can't, I'm right.

On control:

You cannot control everything, you can only control yourself.

In one year, I'll either be fatter or thinner. It's my choice.

"I must do something" will always solve more problems than "Something must be done". The shortest answer is doing.

On Perfection:

Remember that patience and persistence, not perfection, get you to your goal. No one is perfect and it's important to remember that.

This is for the rest of your life, and you're not going to be perfect every day for the rest of your life.

Don't deny yourself everything, just find a balance.

On Change:

You have to love your new way of eating as much as you loved your old way, so make it yummy, enjoyable and fun!

The first step to breaking bad habits is to be aware of them!

If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten.

On making it happen:

If it were easy everyone would do it!

A goal is a dream with a deadline.

Make sure you enjoy the journey.

If it is to be, it's up to me.

Ooh! Those are some great quotes!

So even if I can't actually make it into this swap, I will be motivated by all the goodies and such!

Loving the quotes there!

Can't wait to get this going.... my head is spinning with ideas.  Great to get me motivated to crafting & moving.

Good luck to everyone with their own goals.

Okay so I was the one who started this idea, and I'm glad someone actually started the swap!  But anyway...I really want to loose weight...and I just found out that I am going to be a bridesmaid for my brother and soon-to-be-sister-in-law's wedding next summer, so now I have extra motivation to loose the weight so I don't look like a pig next to the other skinny bridesmaids!
