The pattern is here -http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/patterns/amy.php

Isn't she sweet?!  I made her for a blogging friend who sent me something really nice in the mail and won't accept anything for it.  She has a little girl who is 6 and her name is Camille.  I hope she likes it!

She is sweet!  How tall is she?  Did you use sock yarn to make her TDR sweater?  What, pray tell, did this lovely woman give you to inspire such a beautiful gift in return?

Actually I used Simply soft for the body (she's about 12 inches high) but the pink was a "mill end" or an "off lot" so it's not that pepto pink that SS puts out.  Her sweater is actually a little of that Red Heart self striping stuff that I had left over.  I realized that the instructions were a little off after making the sweater so I made her diaper and her booties from RH baby pompadore (the stuff with the sparkly in it)  It was making up HUGE!  And I went down a needle size!  Size 5 needles and baby yarn is good for the clothing.  I used size 2 dpns for the body and light worsted.  It's not written for dpns but I can't fathom why it's not.  Who wants to seam when they don't have to?!

She sent me an 2 entire Homeschool Science Curriculums for my 2 boys.  Quite pricey and heavy to ship.  I'm going to make her little boy a snake stuffie from Toys to knit http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/030733659X/ref=ase_knitty-20
She's the best.
