Err, well, the only thing I know of leet (or 1337) is that it's common internet lingo for "elite", i.e. something awesomely good. I've never seen it refer to the amount of posts though Wink

I've seen it posted that when your posts hit this number..........ins tead of the number 1337..........."LEET" appears in it's place.............. Roll Eyes
On this site? Cool. "leet" is a type of internet lingo also just like the way people speak on I Can Has Cheezburger. They replace a lot of letters with numbers.

Hehe, I haven't noticed that, but that sounds like a nice bit of humor, seeing as how in "leet speak" you often replace letters with numbers, thus the abbreviation of elite is spelled 1337... and in that case it is done vice versa

Yepper... Cheesy  There is a thread about it on the FOC board.

On your 1337th post, the code changes your count to:

It's a fun little Easter egg in the code.

Just had to add my experience with the term "DH."

I had never seen this until I was engaged and on wedding planning boards about 4 years ago. It took me a good 6 months to realize it was "dear husband" or "darling husband."

Like many to-be brides I was disgruntled with planning (but not quite to bridezilla status yet) and thought people who were newlyweds were already calling their spouse "damn husband!!!!" LOL  Cheesy

I think one abbreviation that's been left out is WWP - Witch Wiccan Pagan.  Usually used to define a type of swap that is for craftsters that follow those paths, and craft items for magickal/spiritual use, ritual, solstices, or just in general witchy lifestyles. Cheesy

Thanks for clarifying that lunamadre

BTW I'm only a few posts from being 1337, I hope I don't forget about it so I can take a screen shot!
