I've been looking at the wonderful projects on this board for about a month or two, and I see people using acronyms. 

For example, "I made this for my...(SD, DH, etc)

Can anyone tell me what these mean?  Thank you!

SD might be daughter too, depending on context.  MIL, FIL - Mother in law, Father in law....
