EDIT: I forgot to put what I used to make this when I posted it  Roll Eyes

Ok, I'm still making the other one, but it was so cute and pretty, I couldn't help but post it on here as well as a tutorial! ^_^

This is my first wearable crochet thing I've made so far (I started crocheting last wednesday Grin ) as well as the first tutorial I've made, I hope you like it!

Yarn for armwarmer: brown worsted-weight
J-6.00 mm crochet hook
Lion Brand Incredible yarn for the ribbon (it was 2 dollars, I couldn't resist  Cheesy )
Moda Dea Cache yarn for the flower!

Armwarmer! ^_^

Ch 30, join with sl st.

1st round: dc ea. st. (for the pretty ribbon ^_^)

2nd and 3rd round: sc in ea st. through back loop

4th round: hdc in ea. st. through back loop

5th round: dc in ea. st.

6th-9th round: sc

10th-13th round: sc until two stitches before the next round, turn. (that's to create the thumb hole ^_^)

14th round: sc until you get to the hole, then ch 2 and join with sl st.

15th round: sc

16th round: sc and fasten off!

For the rosette, it's very simple.

1st row: ch 20 st.
2nd row: sc twice in those 20 stitches, and fasten off!

Then just form it into a rosette and for more stability, sew it together so it doesn't

fall apart Tongue then just sew it on your armwarmer and weave the ribbon and you're done!

...Make two xD

I hope that was clear enough for everyone! If you have any questions, just ask!

I'm quite proud of myself, it's so cute! I'll post pictures of both of them when I finish. ^_^

Good for 14, eh? Woot!  Grin

Hehe for whatever reason I always have at least 2 projects I'm working on and I am not afraid to add a few but if I do nothing will get done :p Like right now, I am working on an afghan thats made up of all different 8" squares (which might actually be turned into 12" because there are some really cute 12" squares I want to try out) And a pink scarf for a friend and always some random critters....the list goes on.

Think its an obsession?

Of course! Crafting is way addicting and easily obsessed over Tongue But that's ok, because crafting is way cool  Cool And that afghan sounds really nice! Post pics when you're done if you can ^_^
