I'm made of yarn!

This is my first finished project in this section! I don't normally do a lot of cross-stitching, but now I've become a little addicted!

I've made a Monsters Inc square

Now, I have a question...what can you do with a square like that? I really want to use it somehow as a Christening gift...but I don't know what exactly to do with it...any ideas are very much appreciated Smiley

The square measure 12cm x 14 cm...

Thank you for looking Smiley

oh man that is so great!! my hubby would absolutely love that!

You could frame it and add the childs name and date or use the embroidery in a pillow cover, or make it part of a small quilt that could be hung on the wall...

It looks great though! Good Luck!

If it's a Christening gift then I would say either a nice little wall-hanging for the baby's room or a pillow, personally I like giving useful gifts so I'd make a pillow.

You could make it into a small wall quilt.  Maybe add a fabric frame of green and blue fabrics then back it with another fabric and put some tabs on the top for hanging.  Like this one - http://www.summerlouise.com/stitching/stitching/sd-mysampler.jpg (from http://www.summerlouise.com/stitching/designers/sheepishdesigns.html)

Or a stand-up box - you mount it around foam and back with a neat fabric and you could use some cool wired ribbons.  Like this one - http://www.summerlouise.com/stitching/stitching/sn-2003-nov.jpg (from here - http://www.summerlouise.com/stitching/designers/lindastolz.html)

It's also small enough you could just finish it as an ornament - perhaps for a door hanger.  Like this one - http://www.summerlouise.com/stitching/designers/giuliamanfredini.html

Cute design and nicely stitched, btw.  I love Monsters Inc.  Smiley
