I orginally posted my version of the pattern (made for the Ongoing Pick Your Partner Swap) in the Completed Projects thread, and it got so much response from everyone wanting to make one of their own that I decided to start my first crochet-a-long.  Smiley

Here is the original post:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=145979.0

And here is the pattern:
http://www.knitting-crochet.com/crochet/lonopesha.html

The pattern calls for sport weight yarn and an F hook, but I used 3, 6 oz. skeins of Caron's Simply Soft and an F hook, and I love the way it came out.

I'm already working on two more (one brown, one grey) but here's the original to get everyone started  Wink:

Now come on, girls, let's see those wraps!  Cheesy

Great idea for the CAL! I had some So Soft laying around the house and started mine right after I saw your post. I'm on my second repeat of the pattern. Grin

This came together pretty quickly for me...  I have one skein left and I may leave off the fringe, but I'm not sure.  It's a pretty one!  I plan to use it mostly when I'm sitting at the computer next to a chilly window.

Thanks again for the inspiration.

OMG... that's so gorgeous! Sadly, I have too many WIPs to justify buying yarn for that  Sad I'll save the pattern and put that in my wish list. How many skeins do you use for this? Just so I can make a note so that when I do have time for this, I can get enough yarn.

I started it the day she posted the pattern last week.  It did go quickly though!  Maybe tomorrow the sun will be out and I'll get a good pic.
