Wow.. lovely corset. It makes you uber-skinny though!

WOW that is one tiny waist!  Are you naturally really slim or is the corset doing most of the work?  It's awesome and looks really well-made.

Cute shirt, by the way!  Gir is the best.

It pulled my waist, 3 -3.5" in... I think... (fully closed it's about 20." around.. and I didn't have it fully closed..)
I used crazy industrial zip ties for the boning, which I had it on for 1-2 hours, and they seem to be holding up,  There are a couple of lose threads that still needed to be cut and stuff... But I couldn't wait.. I had to try it on.

Hooray for industrial zip ties... I used a combination of those and "real" steel boning in the corset I'm currently working on.  They're awesome in my opinion, and so much cheaper than steel!  I got 300 for $6... I calculated it out and that came to about 5 cents a yard.  As opposed to about $10 a yard for the steels.  Totally worth it.

I love it! I wish I could use the zip ties, but in the costume shop we do things the 'real' way, but I might just have to make one with zip ties over the summer.

You got 300 for $6? Where? I spend about $4 per package of 10, I think. It's been a while since I bought some. I'd love to buy them in bulk... especially since I use about 3 packages per corset. I buy them at Home Depot.
