In addition to a blanket I posted in the crochet FO thread, I knitted these little babies for charity this weekend as a part of the group Homespun Helpers.

The group is trying to make 4,000 items for charity this year (after smashing our goal of 3,000 last year!) so I am trying to set weekly goals for myself.  This week's was four by sunday and I did it!  Back to de-stashing...

lindsoriah>  Wow!! that is an amazing goal! Your group is awesome!! I can't wait to see the next set of items that you knit up!

I have decided that it is time to try out one of the patterns that I bought for myself and haven't knit up yet..... The Fibertrends Felt Clogs. I had some leftovers from a scarf I made at Christmas in Briggs & Little Regal wool a Charcoal colour.  I also had a great ( nay beautiful!!) colourway that I bought one skein of to swatch and plan with called Fundy Fog. I assure you that any pictures that I post will not do the depth of colour justice.

So I knit them up in the clog pattern. In three hours! I credit the easy pattern! I can't wait to  felt them and show you some pictures, in the meantime I have some more B&L that I bought to swatch and play with , so I think I will make a few more pairs as a pre-emptive gift making oppurtunity! I hope to have a great photo to show you with a few pairs in it! I totally recommend the pattern, you have to really follow the instructions though. I wonder if this is the one that Brenda Dayne was talking about..........
Good Stitching gang!

psychadelic squares from my MOMs stash, handed down lol, on sz 8's
frogged opal sock yarn, again psychadelic squares, only in an insane sz 1 needle,
a sweater in the round from a lovely cardi thats too small now(sob)

My stash really isn't all that big, just four or five  huge ice cream buckets, 1 big rubbermaid, 1 small rubbermaid, my sons wagon, 4 grocery bags full, and a scooby doo christmas popcorn container .....wow. when you see it written down...ummm...back to knitting.

I'd forgotten about this thread, but not about using up stash... I'll post pics when I have them.

Lindsoriah, how many people are in your group?

Here's some of what I've been knitting:

Scarves for the knitting club fundraiser at school and

lots of hats to donate.  That pink yarn is never-ending!  I seriously have about one more pound of it.
