That sounds like a great idea Silver Ilix.  Hopefully I'll remember to pick up batteries for my camera by next weekend so I can post some pictures!

I'm having a bit of project ADD right now.  There's several things I want to start on and my concentration for projects already started is waning.  I'm glad I have this thread to keep me motivated though!

My college is having a Stitch-a-Thon in mid-April. I'm not sure of the exact details, but it's probably going to involve pledging for an amount of knitting/crocheting that's done, similar to a Relay for Life event. I'm going to be teaching people how to knit and someone will be teaching people how to crochet. Since it's a charity event, I'm guessing the learners won't be provided with their own supplies. I'm thinking this might be an excellent way to reduce some of my stash of acrylic yarns that I won't use.

BTW: I've been good about the no yarn thing, but I had to buy a skein of LP Bulky to make a purse for an upcoming formal, and it was way cheaper/easier/more fun than going purse-hunting. While at the LYS, I also bought a ball of Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk. But that's it! for quiiiite a long while! I swear!  Tongue

It might work: I just finished knitting a cute sweater for my impediment (who just started teething this week) and he's been being good - I knit an entire washcloth (from Mason-Dixon knitting) this week. Which is quite the accomplishment.

(Pictures of the sweater and the washcloth - both from stash - once I get Toothy to model for me Smiley)

I managed to finally get a pic of my latest stash-busting project.  Introducing, Zombie Girl!

I sent her to xladyluckx for a swap and she took this cool photo (because I ALWAYS forget to take picks before I send!)

My kids loved her, so I've got to make 3 more!  And one more for a different swap I'm in.  She was really fast and fun!

Since you have to make more, can you steer us towards a pattern?

She's gawgeous!

I used Jean Greenhowe's Scarecrow Clan pattern for Baby Bonnie...except I did the body all in white and attached the scrap yarn hair with a crochet hook

I found a link to a site that has pictures:  http://www.yarnfwd.com/jeangr.html

I just use the body parts how I like, sometimes I mix and match too...kinda like Frankenstein!

I don't know quite how large my stash is. It's not necessarily a huge amount, but I still want to work on it. I don't have the money to be buying new yarn. :p

I'm almost done with Knitty's "Monica", so hopefully I'll have pictures of that soon. Smiley
