this is great! i've been following wendys' rules since the beginning of this year and so far, so good. here are a few FOs from my stash:

anyone else have FOs or WIPs?

speaking of a swap, maybe it could be an ongoing one like the "swap a yard of fabric ongoing swap".  Huh there is a yarn stash swap going on right now but it's for US residents only.  Sad

Heh, they're just 100% wool worsted weight yarn. It is rather soft, though. Not very itchy at all. I got it from this ebay seller, jojosquare, 20 110 yard skiens for $35, but they don't have deals like that anymore, at least not that I've seen.

I was just able to knock my stash down nearly 10 skeins by making Flicca so I've now got a really good sized hole in my stash.  I'm now knitting Jemima by the same designer, which will use up my Ecoknits cotton.

I found that when I used to have a dozen projects on the go I seemed to accumulate yarn at an alarming rate.  Probably a bad case of 'startitis' that keeps getting out of control.  My last few projects I've worked on almost exclusively.  Not only did I finish them in record time but I can see my stash going down.  Mind you, this is sometimes harder than I'd like it to be, but now that I've got a plan for every little bit of stash I can't go out and decide to do another project.  I'd be lying if I said this wasn't agonising, I better get all this stuff done before the next issue of Knitty comes out or I'll be off the wagon.

I did some stashbusting over the weekend, and came up with this:

This is a scarf knit lengthwise on size 8's, 150 st lengthwise in garter stitch. I used Noro Silk Garden, Noro Kureyon, Cascade Heathers, and Colinette yarn in Prism.
