Here is the Halloween costume I made for my daughter last year.  It's based on the character of Shock (the little witch trick-or-treater) from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas..

It's made from lavendar velvet and purple cotton.  The hair is made from braids of hair from a turquoise wig.

you're right on that one, it says it in a post on the challenge description.  i was hoping to be able to enter a jedi cloak i made for the star wars ep3 premiere in '05.  sadly, no luck, and no time to sew something right now. 

but it is definitely too bad in this case, because this entry is adorable!
