Heh... Simply would have gotten my questionnaire about 5 mins after she started the swap, if it wasn't for the fact that I went a-hunting for helpful links, and got completely sidetracked.

And now! Now I have an excuse to buy a disgusting amount of Japanese fabric I found in an online store.

Sweet.

WHAT online store?Huh I've been stalking eBay, but the prices suck, cause I know I am being robbed, and I am feeling all homesick for Hawaii, where Asian fabrics are rampant! lol

The one I found is http://www.kimoyes.com/

It's got prices I'm happy to pay. Although, if anyone's found something cheaper, please do fess up.

I've bought stuff from them before, they're really good! I also rate www.sanshi.com.au (sorry if you're not aussies!). I bought a LOT of fabric when I was in Japan - some of the cotton prints were soooo cheap, but my supply dwindles =(

I think I might have to sign up for this swap.  I am completely obsessed with tanukis.  They are this strange raccoon like dog from Japan who in Japanese myth can change shape.  I have way too many little ceramic tanukis from the Marukai 98cent store sitting around my apartment.

Me too!  It doesn't take much to get addicted to swaps.  It's like Christmas all year round.  Plus, I love getting packages in the mail.

Mini: I actually have 2 Chis!  I love them, they are the sweetest little doggies ever.

I think if this goes on I'd need the support of a Swappers Anonymous group Smiley.
I love getting packaged in the mail too! Even when I get something delivered in the mail courtesy of ebay, and I know what it contains, it still gets me giddy. Smiley

Yay! Thanks Simply!

That said, I totally love the bag you made in the last swap Smiley.

ooooh, that's teasing, that is.

In that brief 1.5hrs last night between finishing an item for another swap, yet being too tired to start tackling the last big item for the swap, I worked a little on one of Simply's items. I think I may have gone a little overboard... all of a sudden they were very easy to do. A lack of suitable supplies was all that stopped me, and I'll be rectifying that situation after work this afternoon.

haha! It's funny how normal items look so much better inside wrapping paper! Wrapped gifts hold so much promise that it's sometimes disappointing to know what's inside them!

I sent my package to TwistedRedhead yesterday.  I hope she likes everything.  Of course I forgot to take pictures of the last thing that I made so hopefully she can post pictures when she gets it.  This was a fun swap.  I can't wait to see what I, and everyone else gets.

I can't wait for my package!  Everything you do is beautiful, Giantsquid.  Since I am snowed in today, I should be able to finish up CrashTestDuckie's package and have it out by Friday.  I just need to find all my supplies as I just put new flooring in my craft room and everything is in boxes in my dining room....

Come on Auspost!!!!

This waiting part is most excrutiating. I've been rushing home after work everyday to check my mailbox... to find it empty.

Or with a bill in it, which is even worse.

*prays to the gods of mail delivery. I'm expecting 2x swap packages & 2x eBay items*
