this seemed like the logical place to put this because 1) it's a paper craft and 2) the found object is wood which is trees which is also paper.
anyways, it's just one part that i need some advice on. I found this chest of drawers while trashpicking and took it home to keep art/craft supplies. it's was boring and i wanted to toy around, and i think I've done well do far. here it is:

(one side and back)

Now, the back is the worst part. I want to do something amazing but i can't decide if I'd like to do a scene or just be random or what. suggestions? comments?

p.s. it looks so much better in person. the colors are so bright.

Oohhh I'm so jealous, it looks awesome!  Grin

How about a combination of the 2 ideas, here's an idea I had reading what you put...

A collage of images (whatever random stuff you like)  as the background, with a (single or group) person/animal/creature, climbing a rope (or whatever) over the images in the background, (like it's a landscape and they are climbing over it).

thanks for posting this..I have all sorts of random colored storage boxes, etc.--very boring and kinda distracting colors...

I think if I used some of my various papers and collections like this, it would make everything more unique and tie in better to what I want my room to look like!!

Very unique--you did a wonderfu job and what an inspiration!

How about doing a journal page for the back?  When I go flea marketing, I have found some cool old stuff that someone wrote the story of the piece I am buying--what it was, how it was done, signed and dated it--almost like a very large antique -look style matching the front would be wonderful--age the paper, etc. Someday, someone will love to have "found" this and the recycling continues!!

I love those drawers!  I like the idea of a journal page for the back, maybe a list of what the packaging/images on the front and sides mean to you (if anything) or a made-up story incorporating all the images.  Good luck!
