I'm running a contest on my site, with a link on the main page to the contest page (It's pretty bright and colorful) The object of the contest is to blog about what someone has made or wants from my site (I was actually inspired to do the contest because I read some pretty good blogs mentioning my designs - with some really cute photos, etc.)

BUT - my monthly advertising is running already for the month, so I can't change my ads right now. And I need to find places where I can list the contest where there are actually crafters (I could post on an online sweeps site, but these are commonly "career" contest enterers who tend to sell most wins on ebay, etc. My roomie does this.)

So I target this to anyone who might run a contest on their site and needs tips to attracting the right audience for a contest... or for anyone who knows or has ideas...

I haven't done a contest like that; I'll be running one from my cafepress site in Mar/Apr because I'll have some new advertising going, so I've been looking at a few things lately, but not too deeply. On the site below, #8 might be a good place to start searching for places to post your contest:
