ok I LOVE Pirates of the carribean and I went to a wedding last night which was perido dress I made 5 outfits for my family.
So I choose my dress to show you all.

so without further ado here is my dress, there is approc 8 meter of fabric in the skirt with a cream underpanel in front extended up into the bodice.
The choker I am wearing was made just to go with this outfit by none other than the talented Miss mermaid.
Dress made by tanza(that would be me)
it took 3 days to sew and the bodice is fully lined.
If you like I can pop it back on and take more action shots.

this one is before I hemmed it.

at the wedding

my demure shot hehehehe.

I would really love to put some embroidery along the front panel and skirt hem but that is for later.

That dress is beautiful! And it fits you so well. I love period clothing. (Inherited that love, along with sewing skills and a thrifty nature, from my mother. THANK YOU MOMMY!) What kind of embroidery were you thinking of doing on the bodice?

LOOKING FOR A PERSONAL SWAP: I'm hoping for dinosaur-themed Xmas crackers, or other dinosaur Xmas items. I can make a Jayne Cobb hat, or many other things!

funnily enough I had to take the pattern in HEAPS I cut out the size 10 and had to take almost a whole back panel out to fit it the way I wanted.

I was thinking of a small creeping vine with baby roses, I can't hand embroider to save my life so it will be machine done just have to find the right design, now it would be totally awesome if I could include my fav creatures in there also but not sure they would look any good so tiny.

and my only faux pas was I forgot to extend the zipper into the skirt piece so getting it over my tiny little boobies is a little difficult, geez I hope I don't put on any weight hehehehe

thanks guys I am planning a whole new wardrobe base round this design cause I love it so much
