Oh man, I totally left that out!!! It gets folded into the tofu after the tofu has been blended THEN it goes into the shell. What a dork I be! Roll Eyes
Well, in my recipe, I left out when to put the pretzel salt on the pretzels, so  I understand completely.  Smiley  When you make things often, some of the steps become so automatic that it's easy to leave them out.    Thanks for the clarification!  Now all I have to do is get some tofu. And spinach. And shells.  Grin

Where did all this fabric come from? I CAN'T have bought THAT much!

I had really good communication with my first swap partner and everything seemed to be going really well until she just disappeared. So  RobertaMac volunteered to be my swap angel, and what can I say? Lucky me!  Cheesy

I recieved a vegetarian Indian themed recipe book. I love spicy Indian food! There's a wide range of recipes: Spicy Tomato Pancakes, Carrot Halva Squares, Saffron Rice, Indian Fruit Salad, Garlic Chutney...
I also got a complete set of measuring cups for the american system and another great bonus, two puzzle books! They'll be useful when I'm waiting for the food to cook.

Here's what I think will be my favorite recipe. I've only had time to try the spicy rice with roasted chickpeas so far, which was very tasty, but I can never get enough of lentil soups. So here we go:

Lentil Soup Flavoured With Spices and Coconut
Rinse well and cook in 2 cups water until soft, about 30 mins:
cup oily lentils
Place the lentils and their cooking liquid in a bowl with:
1tsp salt
Mix with a rotary beater or in a blender until smooth.
Heat in a saucepan:
1tbs vegetable oil
Add and saut until seeds pop:
pinch hing
tsp cumin/mustard/sesame seed mix
4-5 Indian bay leaves
2 dried hot peppers(opt.)
Add chopped vegetables and saut until soft:
clove garlic chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
2 inches fresh green hot pepper, chopped
2tbs fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Stir in:
1 tbs brown sugar
1tbs coconut flakes
Then add the powdered spices:
1tsp cumin/coriander powder
1tsp garam masala
tsp other masala(or more garam masala)
Add the lentil mixture and 2/3 cup water(or more) to make a thin paste or thick liquid; cook until heated thorough.

Sounds delicious, doesn't it?

Thanks for being an angel Roberta!

I loved being an angel, no craftster should ever have to be without! Wink

How are you doing on the puzzles? I bought the same books for me, and some of them are really difficult. (insert pointy eyebrow smiley here.)

Tadpole due- November 2008!
Another craft project, home made!
