Hi! I want to make it down to the Maryland sheep and wool fest.

Any idea where to stay down there? Anything else I should see while in the area?

Thanks!

There's all sorts of stuff to see abouts that area.... like the Balitmore Aquarium, the standard stuff to visit in DC, in Hanover there is a Medieval Times restaurant.

I grew up in Manassas VA (you can see it on the map of the festival location- its wee), so I may be coincidentally finding a reason to visit my parents that weekend.  Wink

The closer around DC and Baltimore you are the hotel prices will be higher. If you stay further out in the smaller towns you can get some reasonable hotel rooms. You might have to drive a bit, but it may be monetarily worth it and you'll be more likely to get a room (the vendors sometimes get hotel rooms too).
