This is really cool!
Would you be able to post the pattern or directions for this?
I'm not skilled enough to figure out the pattern by just looking at the pictures...
Cast on as many stitches as you want it to be wide, I did 30 on size 7 needles.
1: slip1, purl to the end.
2: slip1, purl to last 3 stitches, wrap and turn. That's the start of the shaping.
3: Knit to last 3, wrap and turn.
You continue to wrap and turn, increasing the number of stitches you knit or purl to before you wrap and turn (i.e. for row 4 you'd purl to the last 4 stitches, wrap and turn. For 5 knit to the last 4 stitches, wrap and turn, etc.)
Keep doing that until you've wrapped somewhere around 5 or 6 stitches. I didn't really keep track.
After you finish shaping, purl or knit that row, whatever you happen to end up at. lol I didn't keep track, but basically, you wanna work all your stitches, that's the idea.
Now do a stockinette stitch for about 12 or 13 rows.
On one of your purl rows, purl 3, make1, and keep purling.
On a knit row, knit 3, make1, keep knitting.
Now, slip1, purl to last 6 stitches, wrap and turn.
Knit to the last 6 stitches, wrap and turn.
Purl to last 5 stiches, wrap and turn.
Knit to last 5 stitches, wrap and turn.
Purl to last 4 stitches, wrap and turn.
Knit to last 4 stitches wrap and turn.
Purl to last 3 wrap and turn.
Knit to last 3 wrap and turn.
Slip1, purl across.
Slip1, knit across.
BO purlwise.
Add on some yarn to the top corners and thread through the bottom corners. Adjust the loops around your ears until they comfortably hold the mask to your face.
Tie a black bandanna on and wear all black.
Congrats, You've become a master of Knit-Jitsu. Assassinate non-fibre lovers as needed.
