for my girls as Christmas gifts

My oldest daughter's costume is pretty authentic  - I personally love the bonnet.

It has something crazy like eleven buttons down the front. Fortunately, I didn't have too many problems with the button holes.





My youngest daughter doesn't like wearing her bonnet even thought it is adorable being the same fabric as her dress.

Her costume isn't so terribly authentic and rather reminds me of Heidi.

OMG! My Mom made Little House On The Prarie cosutmes for my sister and I almost...gosh..almo st 25 years ago. We won a halloween costume contest wearing them.
They were like the one with the bonnet, but lighter colors.

Those are beautiful (clothes and kiddies)!  Dress-up clothes are the best gift. My mom used to actually dress my sisters like this...on a daily basis...seriously.. .and I got my name from these books, so I totally appreciate the Little House nod. Great job!

my parents made my a little house on the prairie costume for a book report I did in 4 th grade  yours look very cute .. your daughters are adorable! and great photos too ... nice job !

OH MY gosh, you must be the coolest mom. I LOVED Little House on the Prairie when I was a child. These are the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I used to have a lot of bonnets. I played Little House dress up constantly. Ahhhh, how fond the memories are. You're daughters are gorgeous in them, of course.

Those are awesome!  I would've killed for a costume like that when I was little.  I had a really ugly copper-colored dress and some brown boots that I would wear and pretend I was from Little House on the Prairie...haha.
