Do you mind me asking... what pattern did you (start to) use?
And where do you get such luscious fabric!?

Congrats on a brilliant job, especially sans instructions!


Um, I think it was some McCalls pattern.  I don't remember, but it was cheap!  I got the fabric from a local store around here.  I think it's privately owned.  The fabric was about $2 something a yard...which was almost too expensive for my liking.  hehe.

I could be wrong, but I think the pattern is M5094.  I made a dress from it once.
The fabric is amazing! Great job!

Actually, I made my daughter a matching dress out of the fabric.  I had to freehand the whole thing, but it came out okay.  Here's a pic:

I copied the pattern for my dress, but put it together my way.  For my daughters dress I did a freehand of it.  I just kinda guessed a bit and kept fixing it until it fit.  lol.
