hey. well, i am finished and completed them, its just the "finished" pictures are at my mums, so i'll keep you waiting for them. i loved the shape of the side of these shoes (but didnt like the line of the shoe where the shoe is open near my toe), and theyre really good quality shoes, but i got them in an oppy for AUS$7.50... what a steal!!

so along came some cheap ribbon, sandpaper, thread, red and black acrylic paints, sharpie, gloss, and some brushes, to make them into shoes that i love, and definitly are "the sex"..... cant wait to wear them out! i of course covered the funny toe-open line...

i have recently made another pair, very similar, but they are too small for me. They fit in the op-shop, but i must have had a "small-feet" day or something, because they havnt fit me scince. They are silver/pewter in colour, and have a black bow like the red ones. the heel is the pewter/silver colour. If anyone would like to do a swap for them, I'd be deligted, just pm me and we'll sort out foot measurements/etc.

Those are so beautiful! I wouldn't have taken a second look at the first pair, even at AUS$7.50 (I have no idea what that translates to in Canadian dollars), but if I had found them after your finishing touches, I would have bought them even if they were $50 Canadian.
