I knitted this from ysolda's pattern for my hubby. He asked for it to be obnoxiously long so I knit 2 panels of 4 skulls each and then joined them together so that the skulls on the ends would all be upright. This made it to be almost 9 feet in length. Tassels were added onto the ends just for the hell of it!

I'm a slow knitter and this involved a lot of picking up and putting down.. it spent some time sat on the coffee table staring at me and making me feel guilty for not touching it!

Near enough, if you get close but look straight on it looks a little strange due to the mix of knit and purl stitches that form the pattern, from a distance (straight on) it's pretty well camouflaged.
