I found cheap yarn that was all the baby colours so I thought to myself, "self, make a baby hat for the baby that is on the way." Not only is this my first and successfull attempt at knitting in the round, I thought it would be a really neat gift. I am probably going to still give it to them, just to see if they laugh. It will probably look better on a real baby.

Never knit with all the baby colours.

My model Chunk:

And just...the hat.

Okay, b/c you said it first, I don't feel at all bad about say this...

that hat is awful.  But it did make me giggle  Wink  I think you should insist that take at least one picture of the kid in that hat.  In 20 years, s/he will hate you for it, but that's half the fun  Grin

That is gloriously heinous.  You know how, with movies, some are just bad, but some are so bad they are awesome?  Your hat totally falls under the "so bad it's awesome" category.  Smiley Thanks for sharing!

It is so bad its awsome. I am hoping for the "WOW that is niiiiiceee" reaction. And the kid will have to wear it because they feel bad!

I think your poor, humiliated cat deserves to be famous.

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

Your cat looks less than thrilled...

... but, cute hat.  If it's the yarn I think it is, I've made a few baby blankets from it (for friends - I have no children myself).
