I just realized I finally have something to post on Craftster!  I made macaroni and gold spray paint jar lids inspired by the Kitschy Crafts book.

Thanks!  It was a fun project and everyone who received them as gifts got a big kick out of it.

I want to make that yarn octopus project next because I actually made one of those back in the 60's.

I love that they are bath salts and you used shell macaroni!  So cute!

Thanks everyone!  Smiley

On the topic of jars, I found that Ball has made some nicer jars with silver colored lids:

You don't have to cover the ball logo that is on the gold colored lids.

Thank you! Smiley  I didn't have nearly the same amount of energy *this* year at Christmas, so everyone got bath salts in jars that just had a holiday sticker on the lid.  Wink

Those are very, very pretty.

When I was about 9 or 10, my cousin had glued shells and all kinds of macaroni in a pattern all over a cigar box. It was the most beautiful thing I had EVER seen and I had to make one.  My parents had to spring for a can of spray paint.  I think my Dad got the pleasure of spraying it. Mine was copper.

Now that I've seen your project, I want to make another one and guess what, I've got a cigar box in the craft supplies!

That 18K paint is something else, isn't it.

Show us something else like that, okay?
