So over the past few months (since about November I think), we've been working on a Costume project in Textiles - we had to make a corset for a character of our choice and I chose Sayuri from 'Memoirs of a Geisha'. And this is the finished product.....

The pictures are (clockwise starting from top left) the front of the corset, the back, a close up of the slashing and burning techniques I used on the bottom, one of the bondaweb flowers and a close up of the machine embroidery, wrapped wire and bondaweb flowers.

So what do you think? I don't think I'm going to get a particularly high grade on it 'cos I don't think it's what the examinors (sp?) are after  Cry but I still like it!
