Although I did have deer in the back yard once, I live in a city so I see pigeons and crows and squirrels...there is also a red-tailed hawk, which is way cool! I came home once to find a fat raccoon lumbering its way up the back steps, but you've done that...I do LOVE the idea of a bat (although I haven't had any personal encounters yet!)...how about a fisher cat? Seldom seen, but definitely around!

We get bats in th summer and someone with a big stately home has alpacas in their garden- kind of fitting for a knitted animal!!
