Katie,  I'm so glad you like your tin.  This was the most fun I have ever had crafting for a swap!

Did the artist of the "will knit for food" tin give credit to Natalie Dee (who made the comic "hats for tats" that said "will knit for tattoos")?  Just wondering.  (I didn't check to see if it was posted elsewhere)

This is an awesome gallery! I've wisted a ton of stuff. I love the needlefelted cat, and the sugar skull. I'm definitely going to have to join next round.

everyone made such pretty stuff!  How long did the felted cat take you?  Looks hard!

Needle felting is really easy. Put in a nut shell - you stab at loose fibres (with special barbed needles) until they felt together. Getting your fibres to look like something in particular is a bit trickier lol.

I couldnt say how long it took me, I worked for about 2 days picking it up every now and then.

Here is the neckalce that BonBabbu sent me, it's really pretty, I love it.

Sorry about the picture quality, it doesn't show it properly, but I can't seem to get a good light during winter.
And I don't have any good photo editing software for my Mac yet..

I got this in the mail from Ezri_B today!  It's a travel knitting kit (which I do a lot), and is splendid!  It's adorable, and I love it.  Also, I love the color.  It's so professionally done!  Squee!

She included some needle tips, a pair of mini-scissors (perfect!), a darning needle in the needle-felt, and some absolutely beautiful stitch markers.  Everything is just so lovely!
